다시 시작처럼 : Anew, beyond

■ The Samwon Art Sponsorship is an emerging artist support program operated by Samwon Paper (formerly Samwon Specialty Paper). Launched in 2018, the program has continued to sponsor new artists each year with the aim of discovering and supporting promising practitioners in the field of visual arts. This exhibition presents works produced over a period of more than eight months by artists selected for the 8th Samwon Art Sponsorship, offering collectors an opportunity to view both the artists’ experiments and their resulting outcomes. In this exhibition, Jang Yeonhee (Ewha) presents ten of her signature botanical monoprints. Completed through a single act of printing, these images capture plant forms as silhouettes, conveying the traces and sensations of subjects that have already passed. ■ 삼원아트스폰서십은 삼원특수지(삼원페이퍼)가 운영하는 신진 작가 지원 프로그램이다. 2018년부터 시작된 이 프로그램은 매년 새로운 아티스트들을 후원하며, 시각예술 분야에서 역량 있는 신진 작가들을 발굴하고 지원하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본 전시는 삼원아트스폰서십 8기로 선정된 작가들이 8개월이 넘는 기간 동안 다양한 종이를 실험하며 작업해온 작품들을 선보이며, 컬렉터들에게 작가의 실험과 결과를 함께 조망할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 장연희 작가는 본 전시에서 시그니처 식물 모노프린트 열 점을 선보인다. 단 한 번의 인쇄로 완성된 이미지들은 식물의 형태를 실루엣으로 포착하며, 사라진 대상의 흔적과 감각을 담아낸다.
